Sixth TSF telecom community centre in Madagascar
February 7th, 2012 - TSF, in collaboration with IT CUP, will inaugurate its new telecom community centre on February 29th 2012 in Miarinarivo, capital of the Itasy region in Madagascar. It will be the sixth centre opened by TSF in the world since 2007.
First months of the TSF telecom community centre in Cambodia
November 17th, 2011 - The TSF telecom community centre in Svay Chek, north-western Cambodia, has been opened for almost 5 months and has welcomed more than 800 users. Thanks to the Internet connection of this centre, the members of the community are no longer isolated from the rest of the world.
Mobile technologies serving the health sector in Nicaragua

August 4th, 2011 - Since 2009, TSF has utilised technologies for information and communication management in the health sector. Having created an application to improve the monitoring of patients with malaria in Thailand, TSF leant its support to the Ministry of Health in Nicaragua (MINSA): TSF implemented an epidemiological monitoring system, using GSM technology, to fight the dengue fever epidemic in Managua, in 2009. Today, TSF is still working alongside the System of Integral Health Services (SILAIS) in the capital, and also supports MINSA to reduce maternal mortality rates, and improve the epidemiological monitoring in the Jinotega region.
TSF durably involved in Haiti's disaster response system
October 25th 2011 - Télécoms sans Frontières continues to participate in emergency preparation actions in Haiti, an island frequently struck by natural disasters, such as the violent earthquake in January 2010. TSF provided NASH with three emergency communication kits which were pre-positioned in 3 regions: Port-au-Prince, Cap Haitian and Les Cayes. Since then TSF regularly goes to Haiti in order to optimize the response capacity of the NASH.
