In 2000, Inmarsat (now part of Viasat) became TSF's first partner. Its support has been essential to TSF's development, and after more than 25 years, the relationship between the mobile satellite operator and our NGO is a model of collaboration between the private sector and international solidarity.
The partnership with Viasat has resulted in loyal financial support, as well as significant technical collaboration since TSF's inception. Inmarsat (now Viasat) solutions have been used in numerous Télécoms Sans Frontières missions, and a close technical relationship has developed between the TSF technical team and Inmarsat-Viasat engineers.
