Together, we represent what “Communications for life” is all about

Our partners

Mr. Rupert Pearce

CEO, Inmarsat

Our partnership with Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF) is of exceptional importance to us all at Inmarsat. As an organisation, we were born out of the need to help save lives at sea and in TSF we recognised a shared ethos. After almost two decades as their partner, the courage and selfless dedication of TSF team members in bringing life-saving communications to people devastated by disaster remains a source of immense pride and inspiration.

Mr. Andrew Dunnett

Director, Vodafone GROUP Foundation

Vodafone Foundation is extremely proud of partnering with TSF for more than 15 years. When disaster strikes, TSF teams are often among the first on the ground to provide life-saving communications to aid workers and victims. Our Connecting for Good programme and long-lasting partnership with TSF are a testimony that technology is aid and more important than ever in times of distress. Today, victims can call to give news to their loved ones, search for information on how and where to get help or even transfer money; aid workers can better coordinate and ultimately save more lives. We admire the dedication and bravery of TSF's team members to help those in need, even in the most challenging environments, and are delighted to celebrate TSF's 20th anniversary together in 2018.

Mr. Michel Chabrol

Senior Vice President New TV Formats, Eutelsat SA

Télécoms Sans Frontières is made up of exceptionally selfless men and women, gifted with incomparable field experience, ready to intervene anywhere in the world in less than 24 hours. For Eutelsat, it was obvious for us to put our fleet of satellites at TSF’s service, meaning that our technology helps respond to the primary needs of both populations in distress, and the humanitarian community. When Télécoms Sans Frontières deploys to the field, our entire company is behind them. It is for all of these reasons that we were particularly proud to celebrate our 10th anniversary of partnership in 2017.

Mr. Eric Loeb

AT&T, Former Senior Vice President, International External and Regulatory Affairs

I’m very proud of AT&T’s work with TSF, and of TSF's efforts to quickly provide vital connectivity in times of crisis all over the world. Since 2003, AT&T and the AT&T Foundation have contributed to fund the mission of TSF. Like AT&T, TSF has been committed to advancing education, strengthening communities, and improving lives in communities around the world. On any given day, you may find the dedicated TSF workers and volunteers providing vital communications to a migrant family, promoting online education, or bringing information to natural disaster first-responders. They’ve deployed rapidly and made a meaningful difference to thousands of grateful people in more than 70 countries on 5 continents.

Operational partners

The Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) is a global network of organisations that work together to provide shared communications services in humanitarian emergencies. As a key partner of the Cluster since 2006, TSF has worked closely alongside the ETC and fellow partners in the aftermath of cyclones, earthquakes and conflicts, connecting both the humanitarian community and populations affected by crises.

Since 2006, TSF has been one of OCHA's Emergency Service Branch's key Operational Support Partners. Our teams work with OCHA’s UNDAC (UN Disaster Assessment and Coordination) mechanism, playing a vital part in providing communications to ensure the self-sufficiency of the team in the event of humanitarian crises, mainly natural disasters. Our teams provide technical support to UNDAC and fellow Support Partners to ensure effective coordination, assessment, information management and logistics in the aftermath of disasters.

Become a partner

Télécoms Sans Frontières is an independent NGO that relies on dedicated private and public partners that share our guiding values. They support our actions to help us use technology to improve the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable people.

These partnerships are based on a commitment to quality, mutual trust, complementarity of roles and simplified procedures to ensure effective, efficient and timely relief.

TSF insists on a tangible, bilateral relationship with its partners, where contribution directly impacts our actions. The coherence of this link is defined and preserved by a contractual framework.
